Responsibilities

  • Design and refine warehouse layouts and slotting strategies in support of throughput and capacity goals.
  • Use data analysis and BI tools for reporting and KPI tracking.

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience in warehouse automation.
  • Hands on experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and WMS/WES systems.
  • SAP experience and expert-level proficiency in MS Excel.
  • General understanding of PLCs and how software interacts with control systems.
  • Preferred
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Business Analytics (Power BI or equivalent) experience.
  • Software engineering background or scripting experience (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Additional
  • Occasional off-shift or weekend work required to support production needs or system maintenance.
  • Ability to travel globally.

Job Description The Automation WMS Specialist will be responsible for the performance and continuous improvement of the software ecosystem that powers the High Bay Warehouse. This will include LEGO's COMBI platform and its integrations with SAP, the AL system, and the vendor hardware software. Will analyze warehouse workflows, optimize layout and material flow, and drive data-informed improvements across inventory, throughput, and process performance. This role is not a software development role.
