Application Engineering Manager We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead and support technical application engineering activities for products and solutions serving the nuclear power industry. This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear power plant systems, including the application, operation, and integration of valves, actuators, and related control systems. You will combine technical expertise, customer-facing engineering experience, and leadership skills to support business growth, work with engineering resources, and ensure successful proposal execution. Provide technical leadership for the selection, sizing, specification, and application of valves, actuators, and related equipment. Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, sales teams, and nuclear utilities. Review customer specifications, engineering requirements, and regulatory standards to develop compliant technical solutions. Support proposal development, bid reviews, technical presentations, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of customer requirements. Evaluate plant system requirements, including Code, safety-related, auxiliary, and balance-of-plant systems. Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear industry standards, codes, and quality requirements. Mentor and develop application engineering team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in customer meetings, technical conferences, and industry events as required. Periodic travel (approximately 10-25%) may be required for customer meetings, site visits, training, and industry events. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in nuclear power generation, power plant equipment, industrial automation, fluid control systems, or related industries. Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and plant operations. Experience with control valves, isolation valves, safety-related valves, actuators, instrumentation, and associated control systems. Experience reviewing technical specifications, drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation. Strong customer-facing and technical communication skills. Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering teams preferred Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance programs and regulatory requirements preferred Experience supporting commercial nuclear power plants, SMR technologies, or nuclear EPC projects preferred Familiarity with industry standards and codes applicable to nuclear and power generation equipment preferred
