As a Senior Designer, independently delivers high-quality design outputs using BIM tools, while providing technical support and training to design teams. Applies deep industry knowledge and advanced skills to develop 3D models and drawings that meet project standards. Exercises sound judgment to resolve design challenges and improve workflows. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure designs align with project goals and client expectations. Mentors junior team members and contributes to continuous process enhancements across projects. Works under limited supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Applies industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles and technical capabilities. Possesses strong skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience. Typically professionally certified in a technical discipline. Completes assigned work independently and receives general guidance and direction on new projects, tasks and priorities. Accountable for larger portions of a project or process. Impact of work is typically on internal stakeholders with opportunities to work with external stakeholders and across business areas or functions. Analyzes issues and identifies solutions using existing techniques, and proposes approaches for novel issues. Exercises independent judgement in determining how work is performed. Proactively identifies and advocates for improvements to existing processes and procedures. Adjusts to new processes or changing assignments, and considers alternative approaches to complete work. Exchanges information on sensitive matters and works to build consensus across teams and departments. Understands stakeholders by anticipating their needs and ensures work results will have positive impact. Provides guidance and training to junior team members. Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 5+ Years Experience in the similar field.
