Responsibilities

  • Perform first piece and first article inspections and communicate results to production teams.
  • Audit production line quality to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Support production associates with quality questions and troubleshooting.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic quality issues.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Willingness to complete additional metrology training.
  • Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • One or more years of quality or manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
  • SAP experience preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and stand 75% of the day.

This role assists with gage calibration and maintenance, first piece and first article inspections, production and supplier quality assurance, analysis of nonconforming materials, warranty returns review, and ISO quality system audits when assigned. This is an entry-level, hands-on technical position. Training will be provided as needed. Location: Onsite - Columbia City, Indiana
