Our affiliated brands include Cancos, UMI/Opustone, and Bell Cabinetry. POSITION OVERVIEW Summary/Objective Fun flooring company seeks Operations Support staff to join our amazing team! The Operations Support role is a professional with knowledge of flooring and customer service best practices who will provide support to the internal operations staff, clientele, and sales staff when needed. The role should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good relationships with all parties involved in the sales cycle. Operations support's key objective is to ensure smooth operations within the flooring office & warehouse. Essential Functions - Process material pick tickets daily for turnkey flooring and tile jobs - Provide critical communication to customers regarding scheduling, order processing, and installation as needed to support Operations team - Support the Outside Sales Team with information, dates, and changes to order execution when needed. - Data input in relation to inventory adjustments within Floor Manager database. - Process stock purchase orders in accordance with inventory sheets. - Update filing of Open Orders on a daily basis; manage files; Filing of job support documents daily. - Answer phone calls and provide efficient customer service for calls both inside and outside of the Company. Check voice mail to ensure a timely reply to calls. - Cross train and fill in for other operations team members when needed. - Greet and assist customers as required for warehouse inquiries when needed. - Other duties as requested Competencies/Skills/Abilities - Experience in a customer-facing service role - Familiar with CRM and MS Office programs; systems savvy, proficient - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Demonstrated performance working in a team environment - High School Diploma or GED required - Detail oriented and accurate - Previous work experience in our industry is preferred but not required - Bilingual preferred
