About the role

The Transactions Assistant - Real Estate, in collaboration with and in support of the firm's strategic initiatives, assists the paralegals and/or attorneys by maintaining and organizing files, preparing documents, updating, and maintaining databases, preparing closing books, obtaining information for internal and external sources, and performing other administrative tasks. Location This position is located in our San Diego office and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing binders, prepare closing books, make copies, enter data, and maintain files.
  • Perform database research and data entry.
  • Assist with corporate closings.
  • Obtain documents and other information from governmental agencies or public agencies.
  • Obtain information from accounting, timekeeping and attorneys for audit letter responses.
  • Assist paralegals and attorneys with mailings and filings.
  • Other duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Certificates
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Minimum Years of Experience
  • 1 year of demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment.
