Job Description University Health Physicians and The University of Missouri-Kansas City Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Academic Specialists seeks a BC/BE Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) faculty member to join our very busy practice serving a diverse population of patients. The division of Academic Specialists has outpatient services at three locations and surgical access at two hospitals and one surgery center. Both hospitals are equipped with robotic services. This is primarily a clinical role with dedicated time for both research, professional engagement, and education. The physician will provide advanced surgical care for women with complex gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and other complex gynecologic pathology utilizing laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while supporting our ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program through resident education and surgical training. In addition, the physician will treat a wide range of complex gynecologic diseases utilizing office based and surgical treatment modalities. This is a new position within the Division and the successful candidate will initially cover Obstetrics and Gynecologic services while building the practice. The UMKC SOM Department of OB/GYN has a fully accredited residency program as well as an accredited maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program, Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with background.
