Benefits
The base hourly rate for this position is $23.87.Our Johns Manville plant in Jacksonville, FL manufactures polyisocyanurate foam insulation panels for use in roofing systems. We produce foam panels as well as specialty items such as tapered, vented, composite, nail board and sheathing products.Schedule:Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, with Saturdays as needed.Your Day-to-DayUse safe work practices including the use of eye, ear, respiratory and foot protection equipment as needed. Shows initiative in supporting plant-wide safety by following all safety procedures and policies and reporting hazardous conditions.Maintain housekeeping standards, always keeping equipment and work areas clean and orderly.Operate a forklift.Work as part of team; relieving and supporting other team members as needed.Maintain communication to support a cohesive team and ensure quality product is being made.Complete production reporting.Ensure department's continuous compliance with all policies, procedures, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).What You Bring to the TeamForklift experience, certification preferred.Valid driver's licenseGeneral math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages)Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications.Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office).Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal).Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Physical RequirementsThe ability to stand for extended periodsThe ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environmentThe ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.The ability to reach or work above the shoulderPlease Keep in MindIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
