Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee residential programs, including high-acuity behavioral homes (AFH settings)
  • Supervise, coach, and develop teams of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)

  • What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • We're looking for leaders who are confident, experienced, and ready to step into complex environments:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Required or strongly preferred: Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses
  • At least one-year, hands-on experience with behavioral interventions and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Proven ability to manage crisis situations, de-escalation, and high-risk behaviors
  • Experience in residential, group home, or behavioral health settings highly preferred
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and acceptable driving record

The Program Director's caseload will involve programs located in the Baraboo & Lyndon Station areas, occasional travel to Madison is required. Lead High-Impact Behavioral Programs.
