Senior Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of assigned subsidiaries, including accounting records, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in improving accounting workflows, reporting templates, compliance documentation, and internal control processes.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports and tax-related reporting requirements, including Global Minimum Tax and Country-by-Country Reporting, for management review and submission to Japan HQ
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, local finance teams, and Japan HQ on finance-related administrative, reporting, and documentation matters
• Support the preparation of financial data, summaries, and board materials for submission to, and discussion at, Board meetings held at Japan HQ
• Maintain proper filing, documentation, and audit trails for finance and accounting records and reporting submissions
• Requirement:
• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related discipline
• Good attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet reporting deadlines
• Able to coordinate with stakeholders across different countries and maintain proper financial documentation
• Advanced proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 equivalent) and English including ability to read and prepare business or finance-related correspondence to support Japan Headquarters

Additional Information

The Senior Accounts Executive will support the finance and accounting operations of assigned subsidiaries, with a focus on financial reporting, HQ reporting coordination, accounting documentation, and compliance support. The role will work closely with local finance teams and Headquarters in Japan to ensure timely and accurate reporting submissions.
