Responsibilities

  • Monitors clients' compliance with general liability, auto liability, and client-maintained workers compensation insurance requirements, as appropriate, as set forth in client service agreements and related addenda.
  • Maintains accurate copies of clients' insurance certificates in the department's RMIS.
  • Maintains other client-related information regarding contractual compliance within the department's risk management information system and reports to supervisor accordingly.
  • Provides guidance to internal and external customers regarding questions or concerns regarding required client-maintained coverages and related insurance certificates.
  • Works closely with department management to request any necessary exceptions to these requirements.
  • Determine if new clients are required to provide Insperity with AL/GL certificates during the onboarding process through hazard ratings associated with NAICS/SIC codes.
  • Assists in worker's compensation class code audits, as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Five to seven years of insurance agency or carrier experience is preferred.
  • Property & Casualty license is preferred.
  • Travel: Up to 5% of time

Property & Casualty Insurance Compliance Specialist This position is responsible for monitoring clients' compliance with general liability and auto liability insurance requirements as set forth in our Client Service Agreement and department-established risk assessment within the department's risk management information system (RMIS). Additionally, the position is responsible for monitoring clients' compliance with the insurance requirements of the client-retained worker's compensation program.
