Community Nurse - South Dublin & North Kildare ( 12 months Fixed Term Contract )

Responsible for ensuring that our service delivers its optimum performance, you will work to achieve a seamless service. Driven to improve patient experience, you will be part of the triage team, assessing referrals in a timely manner and signposting to other teams and services delivering care needs. This position is 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday - 3 long shifts per week. This position is a 12-month Fixed-term Term Contract.

Responsibilities

• Cannulation & Phlebotomy Experience - Essential.
• Administration/Education of Subcutaneous Therapies.
• IV Administration Therapies in Home Settings.
• Maintain full compliance with company Policies & Procedures.
• Completion of electronic nursing records & ensuring relevant information is recorded in a timely & accurate manner.
• Report details of Adverse Events, Product Complaints and/or Clinical Incidents as per company policy.
• Basic IT/ computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to develop relationships with new contacts.
• Displays a good deal of flexibility and is adaptable to change.
• Likes to work alone yet values their position within a team.
• Demonstrates good sound judgement.
• Good Time Management Skills
• Willing to travel domestically.
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry or similar discipline is desirable, but not essential.
• Candidate Requirements :
• An Bord Altranais Nursing Registration.
• Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital or community setting
• Proficient in Cannulation & Phlebotomy.
• Must have a keen interest in Community Nursing
• Full clean driver's licence
• Willingness to travel domestically
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry or similar discipline is desirable, but not essential. Basic IT/ computer skills. COMPETENCIES

Additional Information

Base Location: South Dublin & North Kildare This is an on-the-road type of position, travelling to the wider Leinster area. This position is 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday - 3 long shifts per week. This position is a 12-month Fixed-term Contract, but with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
