About the role

The Appian Developer will design, develop, and deploy low-code applications on the Appian platform for the Army acquisition community. The developer will support legacy modernization efforts, and will integrate enterprise systems through web services, APIs, and data migration. Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Proficient in Appian platform, including design, development, and deployment of Appian applications
  • Legacy Modernization: Re-platform applications from older technologies
  • Integration: Integrate Appian with other systems and databases, handling data migration
  • Agile & DevOps: Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines, promoting DevOps best practices.
  • Design & Architecture: Collaborate with Lead Architects on design and technical documentation
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, workflow automation, and case management
  • Experience with Appian SAIL, interfaces, records, and reports
  • Ability to integrate Appian with external systems using web services and APIs
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Appian solutions
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Requirements

  • Experience with the Army or similar DoD/DoW preferred; Acquisition a plus
