We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented QC professional to manage our quality assurance processes while actively supporting our logistical and sales operations. 📍 Job Details Position: QC Engineer / QC Manager Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time 🎯 Job Purpose This hybrid role bridges strict technical quality control with operational business support. You will ensure our optical products meet the highest industry standards, manage supplier relationships, and facilitate smooth sales-to-delivery workflows. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Control & Supplier Management Perform rigorous incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections on precision optical components. Utilize and maintain optical metrology equipment (e.g., interferometers, spectrophotometers, spherometers). Conduct technical quality audits of local and international suppliers to ensure compliance. Manage supplier performance, resolve quality issues, and issue corrective action reports (CAR). Maintain precise quality documentation, inspection reports, and ISO standards compliance. 2. Logistics & Delivery Support Partner with the logistics team to verify order accuracy before dispatch. Ensure all products are packed securely according to optical handling and shipping standards. Prepare required shipping documentation, certificates of conformance (CoC), and customs paperwork. 3. Sales Operations & Transaction Support Collaborate with the sales team to review customer technical requirements and quality specifications. Assist in processing sales orders and tracking transactions to ensure timely fulfillment. Provide technical support during customer inquiries to help close sales successfully. 4. Ad-Hoc Duties Execute administrative, operational, or technical tasks assigned by management to support business growth. 🎓Requirements & Qualifications Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related technical discipline. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years (Engineer) or 5+ years (Manager) in optical component inspection or manufacturing. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with optical cosmetics standards (e.g., MIL-PRF-13830B scratch-dig). Hands-on experience with optical testing tools and metrology instruments. Soft Skills: High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and strong cross-departmental communication. Languages: Fluent in English (Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communicating with regional suppliers). Mobility: Ability to work efficiently in Singapore or Johor, with occasional travel for supplier audits if required.
