Role Summary & Impact: We are currently looking for a Business Director to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for leading integrated media planning and strategy across both traditional and digital channels for a portfolio of leading brands. You will work closely with clients, media partners, and internal teams to develop data-driven communication strategies, drive business growth, manage senior stakeholder relationships, oversee campaign performance, and ensure the delivery of innovative media solutions that achieve client objectives while mentoring and developing high-performing teams. Develop expertise in agency planning frameworks, tools, and processes. Build strong relationships with key clients, internal teams, and media partners. Lead planning discussions and contribute to strategic recommendations. In Six Months: Independently lead annual and campaign planning for assigned clients. Deliver integrated media strategies aligned with client business objectives. Drive collaboration across investment, digital, content, and analytics teams. Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and effectiveness. In Twelve Months: Be recognized as a trusted strategic advisor by clients. Lead high-value business pitches and contribute to new business growth. Develop long-term media strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. Mentor and develop planning team members while strengthening planning excellence across the agency. What Your Day Job Looks Like at WPP Media Lead strategic media planning across assigned client portfolios. Develop annual communication strategies and media frameworks. Ensure all media recommendations are grounded in consumer, market, and business insights. Collaborate with investment, digital, performance, content, and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions. Present media strategies, plans, and campaign performance reviews to clients. Drive innovation through emerging media channels, technology, and data capabilities. Oversee campaign planning, execution, optimization, and post-campaign evaluation. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities. Lead forecasting, budgeting, and allocation of media investments. Ensure planning quality, accuracy, and adherence to agency best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media owners, and strategic partners.
