About the role

We are seeking talented and motivated Analyst to join the Office of the CEO, working directly with our Manager of the Office of the CEO to drive the strategic and operational priorities of Sezzle's CEO. This is not a traditional analyst role. You will function as an executive-grade project manager: the person who gets things done across the organization, removes obstacles for leadership, and turns ambiguous directives into clear outcomes. We are hiring multiple analysts. The bar is high. We hire ambitious recent graduates with exceptional academic records, high IQ, high EQ, and a relentless drive to deliver. You will sit inside the executive wing, reporting through the Chief of Staff to the CEO, and you will be exposed to the full operational and strategic agenda of a publicly traded fintech (Nasdaq: SEZL) on its path to becoming a bank. This is a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. We start compensation modest and reward performance aggressively. Top performers move quickly. Underperformance is addressed directly.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cross-functional projects originating from the Office of the CEO, from kickoff to delivery, holding stakeholders accountable to commitments and deadlines.
  • Translate the CEO's and Chief of Staff's priorities into structured workplans, timelines, and clear next steps; eliminate ambiguity so the right work happens fast.
  • Prepare materials for executive meetings, board interactions, and investor touchpoints, including briefing notes, agendas, decks, data summaries, and post-meeting action trackers.
  • Conduct quick-turn analysis and research on business, market, regulatory, and operational questions; deliver crisp, decision-ready synthesis, not raw data dumps.
  • Build and maintain automation and AI-enabled workflows that scale the productivity of the Office of the CEO; if it can be automated, automate it.
  • Track progress on OKRs, strategic initiatives, and executive commitments across functions; surface blockers and risks early, with proposed solutions.
  • Coordinate with leaders across Engineering, Product, Finance, People, Legal, and Marketing to keep executive priorities moving in parallel.
  • Act as a trusted, discreet extension of executive leadership; handle confidential information with absolute integrity.
  • What We Look For
  • Education: Recent graduate (or graduating within 6 months) from a top Colombian university. We have hired the best from Universidad de los Andes and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana ; equivalent academic excellence from other top institutions will be considered.
  • Major: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline. Finance fundamentals are the basis of everything we do.
  • Academic record: Strong GPA and demonstrated intellectual discipline. We review transcripts. Excellence in subjects you did not personally love is a signal we value.
  • Cognitive ability: High IQ, fast learner, comfortable holding multiple variables in your head at once. Candidates complete a Wonderlic cognitive assessment as part of our process.
  • Project management instinct: Natural orientation to break work down, sequence it, hold people accountable, and close loops. You finish what you start.
  • AI and automation fluency: Daily, comfortable user of modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, similar). Able to design prompts, build simple automations, and use AI to compress hours of work into minutes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
  • Operational excellence: Obsessively organized. Calendars, trackers, follow-ups, and documents in order. Nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, professional written and spoken English and Spanish. Comfortable communicating with senior executives.
  • Maturity and discretion: Exposed to confidential information from day one. Trustworthy, composed, and professional under pressure.
