The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across Corporate, Commercial Operations, Technical, and Engineering functions. Responsibilities

  • Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
  • Lead & Deliver Results
  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters supporting Engineering, Technical, Commercial Operations, and Corporate functions (IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Compliance, HR, Brand & Strategy, Growth, Administration, Audit etc.)
  • Own hiring performance across supported business areas - ensuring delivery against headcount plans, time-to-fill targets, and quality-of-hire metrics
  • Drive disciplined requisition management, prioritization, and workload distribution
  • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability mechanisms across the recruiting team
  • Step in as a player-coach when necessary to ensure critical roles are filled
  • Simplify & Standardize
  • Bring structure and consistency to recruiting processes in an environment that has historically been complex
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that improve speed, transparency, and predictability
  • Ensure data integrity and disciplined system usage
  • Strategic Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, understanding business goals, capability gaps, and workforce planning needs
  • Translate business strategy into actionable recruiting plans
  • Provide talent market insights to influence hiring strategy and workforce decisions
  • Support critical leadership hiring as needed
  • Drive Talent Excellence
  • Build high-caliber candidate pipelines across engineering, technical and corporate disciplines
  • Elevate sourcing strategies and proactive talent pool mapping
  • Lead hiring calibration conversations to ensure quality and consistency
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and structured interviewing
  • Performance & Accountability
  • Utilize internal hiring data (supply and demand) and external market data to develop and execute plans that drive performance
  • Conduct regular business reviews with stakeholders
  • Create visibility into risks and mitigation plans
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in feedback, recognition, and ownership
  • Location & Travel Expectations :
  • This role is based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
  • This role requires 4 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
