About the role

The Consultant, Product Performance, is responsible for tracking and confirming the realisation of benefits from FCO product investments, and for actively managing the ongoing performance of AI models deployed across the portfolio. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain the benefits register, tracking realised vs forecast benefits, identifying gaps, variances, and risks to delivery early. Validate benefits with recipients through evidence-based confirmation, ensuring outcomes are substantiated and reportable. Monitor AI model performance against agreed KPIs (e.g., accuracy, drift, latency, fairness, business impact) and escalate degradation or risk indicators. Prepare and maintain benefit realisation and AI performance dashboards and reports for governance forums and executive audiences across NICV and Australia. Support viability cases and modelling for new demand, incorporating baselines, assumptions, sensitivity analysis, and attribution logic informed by realised performance. Re-test viability assumptions against actual benefit and AI performance data, feeding lessons learned back into prioritisation and modelling practice. Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, model versions, and benefit baselines to support governance, audit, and continuous improvement. Contribute to uplift of benefits realisation and AI performance practices across the NICV team, embedding best practice and lessons learned. Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Essential capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to track benefits realisation , interpret AI model performance, and translate complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in benefit modelling and tracking, including baselines, attribution logic, and forecast vs actual analysis. Working knowledge of AI/ML model performance concepts (drift, accuracy, precision/recall, fairness, monitoring frameworks) and ability to interpret model performance reports and dashboards. Familiarity with viability and scenario modelling techniques (sensitivity, NPV, options analysis) to support new demand assessment. Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, Python/SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones. Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to present technical and AI performance insights to non-technical executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in benefits realisation , product performance, business analysis, or data science within a large or complex organisation .
  • Experience designing and maintaining benefit registers, tracking realised value against baselines, and validating outcomes with recipients.
  • Hands-on exposure to monitoring AI/ML models in production, including drift detection, retraining triggers, and model risk considerations.
  • Experience supporting viability assessments and business cases, including assumption testing against actual outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across geographies, ideally in a hybrid Australia-Vietnam delivery model.
  • Qualification Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, data science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Certifications in data science, machine learning, benefits realisation , or financial modelling highly regarded.
