Job Description: Job description (heading) / Description du poste (titre) This role plays a key part in the modernization of the SLHK actuarial stochastic modelling platform, supporting the implementation of stochastic model on PathWise across multiple reporting standards and internal management bases. It offers an excellent and unique opportunity for candidates to contribute to a major actuarial transformation initiative, spanning model design and development, testing, and implementation, through leveraging leading technology in the evolving actuarial solutions landscape. The role also offers valuable exposure to actuarial valuation and par management, providing broad insight across a range of technical and analytical areas in life insurance. Experience in IFRS17 / HKRBC / HK-specific Par management are added advantages Proficient command of spoken and written English and Chinese Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre) Degree in actuarial science or any related disciplines Qualified actuary or close to fellowship At least 6 years of working experience within life insurance industry, preferably in actuarial stochastic modelling and valuation areas. Candidates with less experience would be considered for more junior roles. Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre) Actuarial modelling transformation project Lead and support the transformation project to implement the actuarial stochastic model on PathWise, covering model design, testing, and implementation Collaborate closely with the software vendor and/or external actuarial consultants to complete project deliverables in a timely and quality manner Partner with actuarial BAU teams (including IFRS17 valuation, HKRBC valuation, and par management teams) to meet the business and modelling requirements Lead and drive reconciliation, discrepancy investigation, and impact analysis of the revamped model versus the existing model Support the development of upstream tools (e.g., data and assumption inputs) and downstream tools (e.g., result extraction and controls) to strengthen model execution and control processes Lead and drive the development of validation spreadsheets to illustrate model calculation logic Coordinate model review by regional and corporate office and ensure the revamped model complies with internal/external governance policies Lead and coordinate the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the revamped model Other project support on a need basis Provide ad-hoc project support to the Chief Actuary Job Category: Actuarial Posting End Date: 30/08/2026
