Requirements
- Current Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Paramedic License.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working as a paramedic in an EMS or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical protocols, emergency medical procedures, and patient care standards.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Position requires working vehicle in good condition.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural competence, and ethical conduct.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must possess a valid CPR card.
- Must complete CDH EMS System entry process.
- Stay current with EMS System requirements.
- Proficient in Epic & Image Trend (preferred).
- Must possess uncompromised character, high ethical standards, scholarly concern for improvement, and motivation for continued learning.
