Additional Job Description POSITION TITLE: Retail Marketing Intern Please Note: This internship is being offered September 2026-December 2026 DEPARTMENT: Marketing JOB CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt EEOC CATEGORY: Administrative Support Workers DATE LAST EDITED: June 12, 2026 ROLE SUMMARY The Retail Marketing Intern supports the Retail Marketing team by assisting with day-to-day marketing activities that help promote our credit union's branches, products, services, and brand. This role helps manage the marketing inbox, coordinates branch marketing requests, and contributes to larger integrated campaigns while gaining hands-on experience across digital, print, in-branch, out-of-home, paid media, social media, and other marketing channels. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain clear, timely communication with branch staff and internal partners to support marketing requests, updates, and project needs. Help monitor and respond to the marketing inbox, routing questions, requests, and materials to the appropriate team members as needed. Create and update marketing-related documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and other materials to support branch initiatives and department projects. Use project management software and other department tools to track assignments, deadlines, approvals, and project progress. Assist with marketing projects for credit union branches, including coordinating details, gathering information, and supporting execution. Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and campaign planning sessions to gain exposure to a wide range of marketing channels and strategies. Support larger integrated marketing campaigns and learn how digital, print, in-branch, out-of-home, paid media, social media, and other tactics work together. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Basic professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with branch staff, internal partners, and team members. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to create, organize, and update documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other marketing support materials. Attention to detail, particularly for spelling and grammar when proofreading. Willingness to learn and use project management software and other digital tools that support marketing workflow and collaboration. Familiarity with marketing concepts, digital tools, social media platforms, or AI capabilities is a plus.
