About the role
Main Accountabilities The GL Accountant will work from the Lebanon office in cooperation with the Antwerp office and will provide support to the Finance Shared Service team in the General Ledger department, reporting to the Group Reporting Manager. In this role you will provide support to the senior accountants and assist on the accounting of more than 20 legal entities within the MEA Region. This is a very operational, hands-on role with the following accountabilities: Record journal entries on a timely basis and in accordance with our accounting guidelines Record the necessary accruals and interests on IC loans Perform vendor/customer balance reconciliations Perform bank account postings and reconciliations for our subsidiaries. Monthly reconciliations of other balance sheet accounts Ensure all business policies and processors are followed in order to comply with internal controls, segregation of duties, delegation of authority. Assisting in audit process. Any ad hoc project or process request.
