Telehealth Doctor - Contractor (Tasmania)

About the role

Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient base, including patients under 25 Manage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consults Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care Maintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency Have a commitment to our patients and their ongoing care

Requirements

• You bring:
• MBBS or equivalent and an unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4)
• Excellent time management with the ability to confidently manage 10 minute consults (4-6 patients/hour)
• Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations
• Strong clinical judgement, with an evidence-based and harm-reduction mindset
• Strong documentation/admin skills
• Experience working with multiple digital platforms and navigating tech efficiently
• Punctual, reliable and responsive qualities - you value team collaboration and patient continuity

This role is a Tasmanian-based, fully work-from-home position. Job Description Our doctors blend evidence-based practice with innovative approaches to support thousands of patients across Australia. We are seeking experienced AHPRA-registered doctors to join our telehealth team as independent contractors. This is a fully remote, Tasmanian-based role , ideally suited to doctors who can commit to around 10 hours per week , with flexible scheduling to accommodate your existing commitments. Our patient cohort is diverse, and this role requires doctors who are comfortable consulting across a broad range of presentations and age groups.
