The Consultant, Operational Excellence supports operational excellence and organizational efficiency initiatives focused on optimizing cross-functional processes to align with strategic goals and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires strong ownership, structured problem-solving, and the ability to independently support workstreams and execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives. Essential Functions Supports the execution of process efficiency and optimization initiatives within assigned business domains, following established priorities and guidance Conducts process assessments and facilitates stakeholder workshops to document current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Supports execution of operational excellence and transformation initiatives by coordinating assigned workstreams, analyses, deliverables, and implementation activities. Supports the development of process improvement recommendations, future-state process designs, and optimization opportunities aligned to business objectives. Works with leaders, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the translation of strategic priorities into actionable process improvements. Collects, tracks, and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness, efficiency improvements, and initiative outcomes. Assists with the identification and implementation of automation, AI, and digital solutions by gathering requirements, documenting use cases, and supporting testing and rollout activities. Develops data-driven analyses, executive-ready presentations, and recommendations using clear, structured narratives and logical problem-solving approaches to support leadership decision-making. Supports change management activities for assigned initiatives, including stakeholder communications, training materials, and adoption tracking. Ensures compliance, risk, and scalability considerations are reflected in process documentation and redesign efforts, in coordination with risk, legal, and control partners.
