About the role

We have an exciting opportunity in the School of English for someone with a passion for Contemporary and/or Romantic and Victorian Literature looking to use their skills in teaching to enhance students' learning experience in the School of English. The Teaching Associate will contribute lectures and lead seminars in two core modules on our BA in English Literature: Contemporary Literature at Level 1 and Romantics, Victorians, Moderns at Level 2. They may also contribute to teaching on our MA in English Literature. We are seeking candidates with a PhD or on track to achieving a PhD in English Literature. As this role is teaching-focused, you will also need experience or knowledge of small-group teaching, marking and providing pastoral support to students.
