Responsibilities

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or Business
  • Strong understanding of engineering technologies and manufacturing ecosystems
  • Experience in technology scouting, supplier development, or strategic sourcing
  • Ability to evaluate both technical and commercial aspects of suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Global supplier engagement and negotiation experience

  • Education / Certification
  • Master's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Physics
  • Professional Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive or consumer electronics/display industry in a variety of functions. Experience in industrialization of innovative products and processes, customer communication, and building relationships.
  • Project / Process Experience
  • Experience in product launches of at least 2 projects and cross-location coordination. Multi-discipline and multi-party project management. Managing business-critical topics across management levels - target alignment, progress tracking, proper reporting.
  • Leadership Experience
  • More than 2 years of global team management experience. Change and Transformation Management skills.
  • Intercultural / International
  • Proven experience working with and leading international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Functional Leadership: Leading global and local EPMs toward supplier BA UX equipment supplier strategy, with focus on the biggest investment impact and most strategic technology (direct impact on 20-50 M€ equipment investment).
  • Project Management Leadership: Execute supplier performance management for BA UX business-critical equipment suppliers and safeguard sustainable business relationships (impact > 1 billion EUR sales/year at BA UX).
  • Functional Leadership: Act as the representative of BA UX toward dedicated equipment supplier management relevant to BA UX business (key suppliers) and to the production equipment purchasing department for global equipment supplier sourcing.
