What You Can Expect MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESD Audit & Compliance Conduct comprehensive ESD audits at supplier facilities (foundries, assembly subcontractors, test houses) and customer sites Verify compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340-5-1, JESD625, and Marvell internal specifications (MV-Q100070-00) Assess ESD Protected Areas (EPA) including workstations, flooring, grounding systems, and personnel grounding equipment Evaluate ESD control measures for advanced technology nodes Supplier & Customer Readiness Develop and implement ESD readiness strategies for manufacturing partners handling advanced semiconductor products Partner with Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), Customer Quality Engineering (CQE), and Component Engineering (CE) teams to establish ESD control requirements Provide technical guidance on specialized flooring requirements including: Conductive and static-dissipative flooring systems ISO 14644 cleanroom-compliant installations ESD flooring meeting ANSI/ESD S20.20 specifications Surface resistance testing and validation per industry standards Testing & Validation Oversee ESD sensitivity testing programs (HBM, CDM, Latch-Up) per JS-001 and JS-002 standards Validate ESD control systems including: Wrist strap and footwear testing Ionizer balance and charge decay performance Static voltage surveys Work surface and floor mat resistance measurements Documentation & Reporting Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, corrective actions, and compliance status Maintain ESD audit schedules and tracking systems Document best practices and lessons learned for continuous improvement Support ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality management system requirements Training & Technical Support Develop and deliver ESD training programs for suppliers and internal teams Provide technical consultation on ESD control implementation Support new product introduction (NPI) with ESD readiness assessments Advise on ESD protective packaging requirements per IEC 61340-5-1 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Travel: Domestic and international travel required (25%) to supplier and customer facilities Availability: Flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones and urgent audit requirements Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct facility walk-throughs, including cleanroom environments requiring gowning procedures Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) are a plus Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis tools, and quality management systems
