The Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) works to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. For information about our bureau go to: http://www.bsee.gov/ Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series/grade to which you are applying. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-09, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1. ensuring accurate accountability, tracking, and documentation of equipment, materials and invoices; AND 2. implementing and maintaining record-keeping for a visitor access system, i.e., conducting background checks (NCIC), enforcing REAL ID compliance, and registering visitor data; AND 3. communicating, coordinating, and enforcing access control and security policies for US military installations and/or secured facilities; AND 4. reviewing and processing confidential or personally identifiable information (PII) such as driver's license, date of birth, and social security numbers. Must meet all.
