As our new Senior Environmental Planner / Consultant, you'll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You'll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You'll drive value, connect assets to strategy and proactively respond to disruptive change. Here are the key things you'll do: Work within our WA and NT region environment and planning team providing expert advice on environmental planning and policy matters to clients and team members. Work on a range of WA planning approval (including EIAs) and early stage environmental constraints and optioneering projects across the Renewable Energy, Transport, Resources, Water and Defence industries. Supporting environmental managers and technically coaching and mentoring junior members of staff on projects Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments, including research and analysis of legislative requirements and environmental considerations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver better environmental outcomes, ensure project compliance and sustainability as well as liaise with stakeholders, clients and government authorities. To be successful in this position you will ideally have or be: Five years or more of demonstrable WA (and to a lessor extent Commonwealth) environmental approval or planning experience Collaborative mindset Continual learner Interest in digital tools Strong analytical skills Attention to detail Strong communication skills Ready to bring ideas to life?
