Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary This Professional Rater I position is full-time in the Department of Psychiatry. The rater will assist study coordinators in numerous phases of multiple studies led by Dr. Chad Sylvester. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Administer behavioral assessments for participants age 4 months to 12 years, including set-up, providing age-appropriate instructions for child/parent, and entering data in a timely manner. Screen, consent, and schedule participants via phone and in-person as research protocols dictate. Assist with the administration of fMRIs for infant and child participants. Guide parents and children through the process by providing thorough instructions and responding appropriately to subject concerns. Administrative tasks including organizing and managing subject databases, data entry, tracking and ordering supplies, etc. Write and modify IRB protocols. Interact with children of all ages in various experimental settings Assist with the training and supervision of student volunteers. Other duties as assigned.
