Position Summary To provide general supervision coverage for a broad population of individuals engaged in an individualized exercise routine and to be capable of adequate BLS emergency response. The Exercise Specialist, under the supervision of the Medical Fitness Manager, is responsible for individualized physical fitness assessments, exercise prescription, coverage of fitness center exercise areas as directed, equipment cleanliness/preventative maintenance, membership and facility policy enforcement, member incentive programs and delivering excellent customer service at all times. Education Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or related field required. Master's degree in health-related field or exercise sciences related field preferred. Exercise Specialist or Exercise Physiologist specialty certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, ACE, NSCA, etc. is preferred.
