Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on water management for mining operations
- Plan and deliver water-related studies and investigations including hydrological assessments, hydroclimate monitoring, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, and water budget analysis

- Contribute to innovation in modelling practices and the adoption of new technologies
- Assess and interpret surface water chemistry to support water quality management, environmental risk assessment, and decision-making for mining operations
- Location and other Key details:
- You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred Lake site in Fort McMurray or our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 -6th Ave S.W
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
- Our geoscientist roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will be based on years of experience and scope of work
