More about the role: We are seeking an experienced and exceptionally organised Project Manager to join our communications team on a full-time secondment at a key client's office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with a strong background in project coordination and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic corporate environment. This role requires close collaboration with both the client's internal teams and our agency to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality communication programmes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day liaison between the client and the agency, ensuring effective communication and smooth workflow.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
- Track, monitor and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Support the development and implementation of communication plans, press materials and advice notes.
- Assist in the design of strategies and campaigns, including by conducting research and analysis to guide decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain project trackers, action logs and post-campaign reports.
- Manage approval processes and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold client confidentiality at all times.
- Experience that contributes to success:
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five years' experience in public relations, communications or corporate affairs, ideally within an agency or in-house communications function.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with a recognised qualification considered an advantage.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritise under pressure and deliver to a consistently high standard.
- Strong writing, editing and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Trello).
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is highly desirable
