Position Summary Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist prepares for and operates ultrasound equipment following specific physicians' orders. Produces detailed computer-generated scans of patients for imaging of the breast, verifies patients' identification prior to scan, selects patient from work list, ensures exam is archived on the PACS. Maintains facilities in proper order. Must keep abreast of all new departmental imaging. To perform a variety of ultrasound, color Doppler exams, and assists the radiologist with various invasive procedures. Education Completion from an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registered, or registry eligible required. Breast certification required. Shift: M-F 10am-2pm
