About the role

Responsibilities

  • Cannulation & Phlebotomy - essential
  • Administration and education of subcutaneous therapies
  • IV administration therapies in home or community settings
  • Maintain full compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Complete electronic nursing records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Report adverse events, product complaints and clinical incidents as per policy
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Work independently while contributing to a wider team
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and locations
  • Maintain high standards of time management and clinical judgement
  • Travel to patient locations as required
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Active An Bord Altranais nursing registration
  • 2-3 years post-registration experience in acute or community settings
  • Strong experience in cannulation and phlebotomy
  • Interest in community-based nursing
  • Full clean driver's licence and access to own car (essential)
  • Willingness to travel across assigned regions
  • Basic IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Additional Information

Base Location: Dublin, Midlands, Cork/Limerick This is an on-the-road role, travelling to assigned patient locations across the wider region. This is a bank (relief) position with zero guaranteed hours, working on a flexible basis depending on business needs. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday between 7:30am and 9:30pm.
