Responsibilities

  • journey refinements, lifecycle improvements) to improve engagement and
  • conversion outcomes.

  • enablement assets for marketers and agency partners.
  • Compliance & quality in healthcare
  • Ensure all data capture and outbound communications align with internal
  • governance and applicable privacy expectations (consent language, retention

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on marketing automation experience in Japan, ideally in
  • MedTech / healthcare / regulated B2B environments.
  • Proven ability to partner with Japan Marketing + Sales to translate business
  • goals into measurable lifecycle programs and outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management: comfortable advising leaders, prioritizing
  • tradeoffs, and driving clarity across cross-functional teams.
  • Japanese fluency (native level) and business English (ability to work with global
  • stakeholders and documentation).
  • Technical requirements
  • 5+ years deep hands-on experience with Marketo (programs, smart campaigns,
  • tokens, forms, landing pages, scoring, lifecycle, templates, QA).
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CRM (lead/contact objects, campaign
  • membership, field mapping, attribution hygiene, data governance).
  • Integrating channel engagement into broader lifecycle measurement (where
  • applicable and compliant).
  • Experience integrating at least one event/webinar platform (e.g., ON24, Cvent,
  • Zoom webinar ecosystems), including registration/attendance data flows into
  • CRM/MAP.
  • Strong working knowledge of tracking and measurement fundamentals (UTMs,
  • conversion tracking, campaign taxonomy, basic funnel reporting).
  • Bonus: experience with workflow tools (e.g., Workfront/Jira), data tools (basic

Primary Function of Position We are looking for a Marketing Automation Manager, who will be responsible to manage and grow the capabilities and utilization of our Digital Marketing Automation platforms. The Marketing Automation Manager (Japan) will report to Mayuri Kobayashi, Sr. Manager Marketing Communication Japan and will own the end-to-end design, build, QA, and optimization of scalable, compliant, multi-channel customer journeys that drive measurable behavior change (training adoption, event participation, status progression, and conversion). This role partners tightly with Japan Marketing, Sales, Digital/Web, and Regional/Global Marketing Ops to deliver high-quality, localized programs leveraging Adobe Marketo, Salesforce, and integrated event platforms (webinars/virtual events/in- person events).
