About the role

[What the role is] The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department is responsible for engaging, seeking, and exploring new opportunities with stakeholders from the public, private and people sectors. As an Assistant/Manager of the Strategic Partnerships & Engagement (Engagement) team, you will build and deepen relationships with key stakeholders across the arts and culture sector, facilitating meaningful dialogue between NAC and the communities it serves. You will work closely with content owners across NAC to develop and implement well-considered engagement strategies on complex and sensitive sector issues, ensuring that diverse stakeholder perspectives inform NAC's policies and initiatives. The jobholder will play a key role in strengthening NAC's reputation as a trusted partner and advocate for the arts sector. [What you will be working on] Stakeholder Database Management and Coordination Review, clean, and update NAC's stakeholder databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of stakeholder information across departments Coordinate with relevant departments to consolidate and align stakeholder information, resolving discrepancies and gaps in existing records Develop and maintain a standardised approach to stakeholder data management, including clear guidelines for data entry, updating, and retrieval Support the regular maintenance and updating of the stakeholder database, ensuring records of key interactions, issues raised, and follow-up actions are accurately captured Work with the Technology & Innovation (T&I) team to explore automation tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of stakeholder management work across the council Engagement Support for key workstreams Assist content owners and the SP&E Engagement team in the coordination and execution of engagement initiatives for key workstreams such as Arts Spaces, Busking, Arts Plan 3.0, including scheduling, stakeholder outreach, and collation of feedback Track and document stakeholder feedback and sentiments arising from engagement activities, ensuring timely and accurate updates to content owners and senior management Prepare engagement summaries, reports, and briefing materials to support post-engagement review and follow-up Engagement Capability Development Providing coordination and administrative support for the planning and delivery of internal training efforts, including PE101 and facilitation skills training [What we are looking for] Proficient in stakeholder management, with experience in building and maintaining relationships across diverse stakeholder groups Experience working within Singapore's arts and cultural ecosystem, with good understanding of arts organisations would be advantageous Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively and sensitively with diverse stakeholders Experience in data management, including the cleaning and management of large datasets Comfortable working with technology and data tools, with an interest in exploring automation and AI-enabled solutions Functional Competencies Required: Partnership Engagement Strategy Sense & Evaluate Impact Stakeholder Engagement
