The Position As the Global ERP Regression Manager, you are the strategic architect and primary advocate for the safety of our production environment. You are responsible for the end-to-end regression strategy across the DIA and ASPIRE (S/4HANA) landscapes & all ERP in scope. Beyond defining the "law," you play a critical role in Stakeholder Education and Engagement. You will work directly with owners of global SAP templates and local live sites to ensure they understand the value of regression testing, help them identify new scope as the product evolves, and provide transparent, high-level reporting to ensure all stakeholders are aligned before any production release. You will be the guardian for the Implementation, Update and maintenance of the Regression test strategy inline with the overall test framework and strategy. You will be working with a team or internals or externals to help support the regression testing efforts for the entire scope. The aim will be to automate all possible scope of regression testing & hence also working closely with the Test Automation team. Job Responsibilities End-to-End QA Management: Independently manages end-to-end quality assurance tasks across various capabilities and contributes to more complex testing and quality problems. Mentorship & Best Practices: Mentors more junior team members and contributes to the development of Quality Engineering best practices. Overall Strategy Ownership: Maintain the master Regression Test Strategy, ensuring it evolves alongside the ASPIRE product roadmap and the eventual decommissioning of DIA. Methodology & CSV: Ensure all regression activities align with the ASPIRE Test Methodology and are fully compliant with Quality/CSV standards. Accountability/Problem Solving Problem Analysis & Root Cause: Independently leads the analysis of moderately complex software quality problems, clearly defining the testing scope and driving root cause analysis. Requirements & Test Planning: Elicits, analyzes, and synthesizes complex stakeholder needs regarding software quality and user experience. Accountable for the delivery of comprehensive test plans and quality requirements, contributing significantly to the design and validation of effective testing strategies. Process Improvement: Analyzes technology fit for quality tools, proactively identifies test gaps, and drives QA process improvement initiatives. Gap Remediation: Proactively build and improve processes where the handover between deployment and production support is weak. Leadership & Accountability: Champions accountability by example (such as taking QA lead and/or test architect roles). Deviation Management: Record and justify any deviations from the overall strategy, ensuring a clear audit trail. Stakeholder Management Relationship Management: Identifies and effectively manages relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across functional areas on medium to large-sized engagements. Engagement & Facilitation: Facilitates workshops, resolves conflicts, and acts as an independent leader defining stakeholder engagement strategies for complex initiatives. Strategic Guidance: Proactively shapes stakeholder perspectives, anticipates and strategically manages expectations, and offers expert guidance to build reliance as a trusted advisor. Change Evangelism: Educate ITOT and Business Capability Owners at local live sites on the why behind regression testing, shifting the perception from a "bottleneck" to a "business protector." The Bridge: Act as the formal liaison between ASPIRE Deployment teams and the live business, ensuring a seamless onboarding of new sites into the central automation suite. Impact/Strategy Goal Achievement: Demonstrates strong and consistent performance with impact typically extending to a specific product, initiative, or cluster. Contributes to the achievement of product or domain goals by ensuring that delivered solutions meet business needs and provide demonstrable value.
