Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the project work breakdown structures, and the project network and activities in SAP
- Build purchase requests with required backup, vendor quotes, and in alignment with supply chain management standards
- Enter forecast into SAP by assigned deadline
- Prepare and submit month end journal entries to align with finance standards and timelines
- Prepare, consolidate and analyze individual project or program reports for all stakeholders
- Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all finance policies, ensuring that spending is in line with capital and/or expense guidelines
- Drive the closure of purchase orders, the financial close, the asset listing for Finance, and the SAP closure for the project
- Protect the integrity of the investment decision by understanding the project scope and bring forward deviations
- Support in building the long-range plans and budgets to develop a full understanding of the planned spending
- Provide detailed reporting on funding progress, trending and forecasting
- Location and other Key details:
- You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred Lake facility north of Fort McMurray, Alberta
- The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts. Extra time may be required based on business need
