The Director of Men's Lacrosse Operations coordinates all operations of the Cornell University Men's Lacrosse Team in accordance with Cornell, NCAA, and Ivy League rules. This role provides support for the men's lacrosse staff and team by managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the program and working closely with the coaches, student-athletes, and colleagues in the Department of Athletics and Physical Education. The efforts of this position are done in collaboration with the Facilities Staff, the Cornell Sports Marketing staff, and Athletic Communications staff in order to support the advancement of the lacrosse community at Cornell. This individual assists the head coach with logistics to support the team, including but not limited to arranging team travel, organizing meals at home and on the road, planning and supporting alumni and team reunion activities, supervising social media content, planning logistics for recruiting visits, and managing equipment needs for the team. Additional responsibilities include uploading, breakdown, and sharing of team practice, scout, and game film. Frequent evening and weekend work is required, as well as travel during the lacrosse season. This is a full-time, 10-month per year position. Salary of this position is $55,768 for this 10-month position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree with two to four years of experience in a comparable role, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong communication skills and in-depth operation knowledge of all associated video equipment Familiarity with and the ability to operate film and computer technology to support a nationally-competitive lacrosse team Experience with event and operations management Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel primarily) Experience modeling values that support inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing.
