About the role
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and stripping a variety of simple and complex filtration units, utilising your knowledge and skills to assemble filters efficiently and accurately. While not essential, experience gained within the aerospace industry would be advantageous. You will assemble, test, and inspect a range of mechanical products and final-unit instruments, using diagnostic tests, methodologies, and high-level technical assembly techniques. You will ensure that all assembly and testing activities are completed to the required quality standards, meet contractual customer expectations, and conform to specifications to enable progression to final inspection and release. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of working within a high-performance culture, consistently achieving objectives and targets within tight timescales. You will have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to carry out the assembly of units as required and be able to pass any job-related assessments where applicable.
