Job Description AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CEI Senior Bridge Inspector to join our Transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) team in Georgia. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and construction engineering inspection support to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and schedules. Roles are available in Southeast Georgia, North Georgia, and Atlanta area. Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Conduct advanced technical work in bridge and roadway construction inspection, including materials sampling, inspection, and testing Support engineers in managing construction activities on large, complex bridge projects Make significant decisions and exercise judgment while providing work direction to lower-level inspectors Perform contract administration duties, including field measurements of pay items and required documentation Lead complex inspections and supervise routine inspections conducted by lower-level inspectors to ensure compliance with construction contracts Participate in pre-construction meetings, project close-out meetings, Concepts Meetings, and Field Plan Reviews (Preliminary and/or Final) Maintain comprehensive field documentation, including daily inspection reports, photographic records, and quality assurance logs to support project records and contract compliance Coordinate with contractors, design engineers, and project managers to identify and resolve construction-related issues and ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and technicians, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent quality standards across inspection activities Conduct safety inspections and coordinate with project safety personnel to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements Monitor construction progress and schedule adherence, providing regular updates to project management and identifying potential delays or deviations from contract requirements Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education US Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
