Position Summary As a member of the Innovation Equipment team, this person will be responsible for managing/developing/evolving Samsung Austin Semiconductor's lean manufacturing program. Responsibilities include implementing lean principles, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation. The position will require strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment operation and maintenance, in order to analyze equipment data, observe operations, develop solutions, and ensure actions are implemented. Additionally, this role will need to support driving equipment performance and factory metrics in collaboration with Fab Engineering teams. Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For: Manage fab wide equipment engineering improvement projects across cross-functional teams and business units. Lead Lean activities to include Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process mapping, and AIW. Work with fab engineering teams to analyze equipment gap-to-goal and drive initiatives to meet performance metrics. Staff/Executive level presentations, proposals and status reports to drive continuous improvement process. Possess expert understanding of semiconductor equipment and should be capable of shifting focus of individual goals when priorities change. Work with multiple engineering teams to reduce inefficiencies using data analysis and lean methodology. Work with equipment analytics and solutions team to interpret data to develop and implement novel solutions for cross functional teams.
