About the role
The Traffic Control Operator is responsible for maintaining of records, reporting and supervising the building and expressway operations. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and ensure the timely submission of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Traffic Control Room reports. Coordinate and oversee all operational activities within the office and along the expressway. Direct Road Patrollers, Road Workers, Utility and Security Guards. Monitor and coordinate the deployment of Toll Collectors based on traffic volume and operational requirements. Provide regular updates to the Traffic Control Manager regarding ongoing events, incidents, and expressway conditions. Task in the Traffic Control Room Document events, incidents, and operational activities within the office, toll plaza, and expressway. Handle local and external calls for inquiries and assistance on a 24/7 basis, including Emergency Call Box concerns. Monitor expressway and building operations through traffic and building security cameras. Ensure that all activities based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are acceptable and approved by the operations. Operate communication equipment such as mobile phones, radios, and telephone. Daily monitoring of Endorsements, Event Management, Issue Logging Tool (ILT) data, Work Order Management (WOM) data and work activity progress. Generate and review email reports before submission to TRB, PAVI and Egis. Log all reported defects and equipment breakdown and coordinate with concerned departments for immediate action. Provide real-time updates and reports on possible KPI hits and incidents that may directly affect traffic flow and operations. Coordinate with Mates, Barangay, PNP, and other government and non- government agencies for incident responseand support as needed. Conduct immediate reporting and investigation of unusual incidents that may affect operations. Recommend and implement temporary solutions for minor operational concerns. Report events/incidents through SMS text blasts, including updates. Monitor the Fire and Detection Alarm System (FDAS). Operate Variable Message Sign (VMS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). Perform other duties as may be assigned. EDUCATION LEVEL Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Others), Business Studies/Administration/Management
Requirements
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Customer Service or equivalent, office-based work, or communication-based roles
- SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be capable to concentrate and think logically over long periods, able to respond quickly in emergency situations and manage emergency situations in a systematic and composed way, and confident with technology.
