Job Description: Range of Pay: $23.00 to $27.96 Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsible for preparing patients for provider evaluations by taking vital signs, recording information, and assisting with treatments such as wound care, injections, and minor procedures. To include coordinating patient flow, ensuring efficient use of the facility and provider time, and maintaining treatment rooms. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will assist in scheduling surgeries, obtaining authorizations for diagnostics and Durable Medical Equipment, and ensuring that all required clearances are in place. The Medical Assistant responsibilities will also involve handling basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ensuring timely follow-up on flagged items in the system. Maintaining inventory levels of medical supplies, ensure the cleanliness of treatment rooms and other areas, and participate in training new employees. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care. Organizational skills, ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to patient confidentiality will be essential in supporting the team and maintaining the highest standards of care. The Medical Assistant is a key contributor in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment, ensuring that all equipment is used properly, and supplies are adequately stocked.
