Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, scheduling deliverables and tracking work progress to meet time, budget, and resource targets
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to ensure project alignment and compliance
• Monitor onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, building codes, and safety regulations
• Develop project scopes and objectives by engaging internal and external stakeholders and verifying technical feasibility
• Coordinate and direct internal teams including engineers, coordinators, draftsmen, and construction workers, as well as external vendors such as subcontractors and suppliers
• Lead internal project meetings to review design and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of required tasks
• Review design drawings for value engineering opportunities and constructability, resolving technical issues encountered onsite
• Evaluate and recommend variation advice to clients for assigned projects to manage scope changes effectively
• Prepare detailed internal and external project plans to track progress, ensuring compliance with cost reporting and manpower budgeting deadlines
• Analyze project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve emerging issues to minimize impact on project delivery
• Ensure construction quality standards by enforcing proper construction techniques and materials usage
• Manage Project Manager resources to support the Tender department, including formulating technical responses and participating in client tender interviews
• Required competencies and certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LTA (MRT) projects involving Architecture, Curtain Walling, Cladding Works, Wet Trade, or Reinforced Concrete (RC)
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Demonstrated integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership capabilities
• Attention to detail in project execution and documentation
• Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to overcome challenges and manage time efficiently
