About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Offutt Event Center. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of military MWR business operations, including supervising/managing a thriving community center operation, knowledge of business policies and procedures, and marketing techniques. Successful personnel management is required. Must possess skill in written and oral communication techniques to explain, justify, and present ideas and findings on various issues, as well as skill in planning, promoting, and administering programs to meet the community's needs. Ability to make decisions and work effectively under the pressure of timelines and rigid deadlines. Knowledge of budget, proper cash handling procedures, financial management, and internal controls to prepare, monitor, and revise budgets. Must possess skills in dealing with customers and the public. Must have a valid driver's license. Position of trust. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Drug Tested Designated Position. Subject to an irregular tour of duty to include evenings, weekends, and Holidays. Must be able to obtain a Child National Agency Check with Inquiries satisfactorily. (T1+Childcare).
