About the Role Dick Lovett Bodyshop in Swindon is looking to recruit a skilled Paint Technician to join our manufacturer-approved team, working on some of the world's most prestigious automotive brands including Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and MINI. This is an excellent opportunity for a paint professional who takes pride in their craftsmanship, values quality over volume, and wants to continue developing their skills within a high-standard, forward-thinking Bodyshop environment. Our Bodyshop in Swindon is looking for a Paint Technician to join our business and contribute to the success of our team. We can provide excellent training to develop your skillset and ensure that you meet the high standards required by manufacturers and the Group. Job Opportunity Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional paint finishes in line with exacting manufacturer standards. Your duties will include: - Preparing and painting vehicles to a high professional standard - Filler work and surface preparation - Masking and priming - Topcoat application - Lacquering, polishing, and final finishing - Ensuring all work is completed efficiently while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and quality control - Adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times Essential Skills We're looking for a Paint Technician who is passionate about their trade and committed to producing right-first-time results. Essential Requirements : - A completed recognised apprenticeship or - Technical qualifications to City & Guilds, NVQ, ATA, or equivalent standard - A full UK Driving Licence You'll be a great fit if you: - Take pride in producing flawless finishes - Enjoy working with prestige vehicles and modern paint systems - Want to continue developing your skills and progress your career
