The incumbent of this role will be part of GSS-Finance Support Team working with the line manager independently to ensure timely execution & delivery of commitments as per the roles and responsibilities defined, to meet expectations of our functional stakeholders in Operational Finance team. The incumbent will utilize financial analysis and data-driven value-added insights to help optimize operational costs and improve financial performance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in finance operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making for stakeholders. Responsibilities Include: Standard Cost Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standard cost models to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cost calculations across diverse manufacturing operations Align self with Senior Leadership's long & short-term strategy and work towards making it a reality Periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) reporting and documentation One pager update/ KPI preparation for the Site Leadership Responsible for SAP Material costing across various plants Routine analysis of production variances (material/conversion) by site by BU Preparation of Off-spec/Scrap by material by site by BU Ensure accuracy of the reporting process through an effective review mechanism that is consistent and compliant with the process Support decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses Improve financial reporting by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal Momentive operational policies Work closely as a Business Partner to deliver value by establishing & enforcing policies & procedures, providing trends & forecasts by Site/BU Drive self towards building standardized processes within the Sector operations finance to ensure Companywide consistency Drive Lean in Operations Finance projects/reports through POU event (CI) : use of automation, TABLEAU, etc Commitment to growth, professional development, and work-life quality by managing priorities Handle ad-hoc requests from Stakeholders & Manager promptly and effectively for business continuity Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies Decision Making Authority: None Key Metrics Role is Accountable For: Qualitative Data accuracy & Global process Alignment Program Financial Analysis & Reporting Timely & Efficient Submission of Monthly Financial Reporting Data Driven value added Insights Metrics Technology & Tools utilization (Internal and External) Key Relationships: Senior Operations Finance Team Functional Managers IT Team Cross functional team (as needed) Travel Requirements None Momentive is a premier global advanced materials company with a cutting-edge focus on silicones and specialty products. Requirements

  • The following are required for the role
  • MBA / CMA degree required in finance, accounting, business, or related field
  • Strong Financial Planning & Analysis Skillset based on experience in a finance role in the manufacturing Industry
  • Total 6-8 years of industry Finance experience wherein 4 years of progressive Plant Finance Controlling experience
  • ERP knowledge and experience (SAP knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Good interpersonal & English Communication skills (mandate)
  • Pro-active attitude, pragmatic, Multitask handling and team player
  • Organizational and flexible skills
