Materials Handler (Motor Vehicle Operator)

About the role

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings. The incumbent serves as a Materials Handler performing tasks in the receipt, storage and delivery of furniture and furnishings. The duties may occasionally include driving a 24-foot-long box truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 26,000 pounds. A CDL is not required. You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.
